News is just reaching us of a potently serious accident in the area. It is suspected that a competitor got into difficulties while out practicing for a task that will be in the Square in Castlepollard on Sunday 1st May as part of the The Queen of the Shears event .

Thankfully, no “Queen of the Shears contestant”  was injured while making this picture.
